A. Lange & Sohne 180.026 wrist watches news:
Is there a price increase coming for Omega? I just read a thread saying yes there is but nothing in detail.
This is after about 5 months of ownership of my RO15400. I am already very careful when wearing it and it is not even my daily beater. Though I kind of expected it, but still... Thankfully, no dings yet.
I've never been a fan of Omega or the Speedmaster (great history, but the watch itself didn't do it for me)...and then I saw the 60th from Basel this year:WOW. So of course I had to make my way to the boutique, knowing full well that they wouldn't have it in stock. That's when I saw the '57 Co-Axial, which also blew me away:So, what can you all tell me about the differences between these two? I know one has a date while the other doesn't, but what else should I know, being a total Omega newbie? The '57 retails for over 9k but I've seen them for around 5k on the pre-owned market. The 60th retails for a little over 7k but is selling at a premium pre-owned. What am I missing, besides the fact that the 60th is a Limited Edition of a whopping 3557 pieces?
Hi everyone, I have been sort of hanging around this part of TRF incognito, posting replies every so often at the stunning PP pics you guys post. I have come across this watch recently that a friend might be selling. I am not sure which model this is. Is this particular one desirable? Is it part of the lines of PP that people are on waiting list and paying a premium for. Thanks everyone for helping a newbie PP admirer. BTW, that is my wrist that the watch is mounted on. Hey guys - for anyone that's gifted a watch (like a DJII ) what did you do to try and get the size right before you gave that person the watch? Also, pretend that you can't measure their wrist as they're not physically near you. It is for a person I know very well (fiance) but she is out of town at the moment and that would be quite obvious anyway. Her Apple Watch, which I have here, doesn't show the markings of where she wears it. Just curious to see if anyone has any tips/tricks other than what the obvious and other than touch luck. Gifting it to her when she comes back this weekend. Thanks
