Hi all. I'm a newbie so please forgive the questions. I have a big birthday coming up and I've decided that my husband (me) will be getting me a Datejust. So, here are the questions:1) Definitely open to a preowned. What questions should I ask, look for, when considering/viewing a preowned?2) Can someone explain the warranty? from an AD? Third party?3) What's the general feeling on internet retailers? 4) Has anyone here dealt with Lex Watches? I know they're a sponsor, I'm not asking for reliability. I'm actually considering them but curious about the shipping fees since they are overseas. Newbie Question: Rolex ever have a battery watch?
I am new here, found a two dollar ladies stainless steel watch (ebay), popped in battery and works excellent. probably a fake from the 70s, but just wondering if Rolex ever made a battery watch. the face just says rolex geneve quartz. small crystals for numbers. a lot of numbers inside the back case.I know a pic would help but i wanted the correct forum first. any help would be awesome! my jeweler cannot tell if this is a fake. really small town here.
