Love the feel and fit of this watch. Band is a very nice dark brown leather. Would have preferred a lighter face not black but it is still very easy to read even in darker areas.

Tickety tock or sweepity swoop...That is the question???
Why do nearly all of the quartz models tick instead of sweep the second hand? Its seems it would be very easy to make the quartz sweep like a mechanical movement...Why is this not done? Is it simply a marketing issue?Do manufactures do this to add allure to their mechanical models? Thoughts?

I got this in a lot of 18 watches from the Bay for a mere $10. It's currently not working. Anyone ever heard of Eden-Matic? I like the looks of it. Just wondering if it's worth cleaning up and getting working again.

New Root Beer GMT - Why no chocolate dial?
I really like the idea of the new root beer GMT with rose gold. However, I can't seem to think that a chocolate dial similar to the Yacht-Master dial would have taken this watch to a whole different level. I can't really tell if the Yacht-Master chocolate dial would match the tone of the new brown GMT bezel. Based upon the live photo (credit others), I tend to prefer the solid RG model with the black dial. Unfortunately, the RG and Steel model is the one in my budget! lol Maybe we will see this model upgraded next year with a chocolate dial.
