A Rolex and a Wedding
Well after 35 years I finally got married and got my first Rolex. I started with a Subdate and now am on the waiting list for a Daytona. I just wanted to share a couple pics to introduce myself, since I am a refugee from TZ. The first pic is not my best work, but it does show my watch the cuff links I wore at the wedding that my farther gave me and his farther gave him and my great grandfather gave to my grandfather. The ring of course is my wedding band and the bracelet is the first gift my wife gave to me. The other pics just show me and my best man and friend of 25 years. I could not have a marriage topic without pics of my lovely bride and her sister and my now daughter.

Aaah! I'm so happy! I've been looking for a new watch for my wrist. Well I know I definately have other things I need to buy, but you know, it's always nice to look. But it's so hard to find something that really gets to you. The ones I have looked at are for example the IWC Doppelchrono 3713. The Breguet XXI. But last week I saw a Blancpain Air Command 2285 from 1999. GORGEOUS! Today I made my priorities right. Instead of buying a new kitchen to the house I bought the watch instead:) heck, I can cook on a medieval stove if I just can wear the watch while doing it:)Wohooo!:))Ten

Hello all,I've been saving for quite a while and planning to make my first purchase this year. (Dream is coming true ) I'm deciding between the Submariner 116040 /GMT BLNR. I have a couple questions and appreciate any guidance/suggestion from your expertise.Is it possible to get a discount at local ADs considering the current hype/low supply? As I heard the low supply is short term and it might be up possibly by late Feb/ Mar, should I wait for a bit to increase my chance of getting a discount? At the same time, I'm worried about Rolex increasing the price for 5-10% this year... Any advice/ recommendation is welcome! Thank you all very much again! Cheers!
