- I was very disappointed when I received this watch. I loved the style of it but thought that the bands were very cheaply made and did not think that the watch would hold up.

Audemars Piguet 26068BC.ZZ.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
I’m going to kick this off with a watch that is near and dear to me – the Diver Date (2008). A very solid 300m rated diver, I believe this model epitomizes the Oris line of diver watches for this period. Priced at the lower end of Oris diver range (at around $1068USD on SS bracelet - lower prices can be found at AD's, as with everything, shop around), it appeals to anyone starting out in their collection, or looking for a watch that looks the part, and does the job, without the price tag of the more well known Rolexes, Omegas etc.The diver date ticks all the boxes – domed sapphire crystal with an AR coating underneath, a 300m/984ft depth rating, Swiss Oris 733 movement (SW200 based), screw in crown, solid SS bracelet with extension (rubber strap also available if the weight and heft of the bracelet is too much, or as a change of ‘shoes’ for the watch), Superluminova (C3) hands and indices, even a sapphire display caseback to show off the movement and sig
Hi guys, new member here!A few days ago I bought my first Oris, a 51mm prodiver chrono. After searching online and calling oris service too, I got advice to forget removing the rubber ring of my prodiver bezel. Everyone said there is a hole and screws underneath and it would look bad. Guess what?I did. I carefully removed the rubber. And I love the result. There is a steel ring attached to the bezel with screws that still helps you to lift the bezel. I guess it will look cool even if you remove that ring as well (as the screw holes are really tiny), but will keep it on for now.The only thing that I hated on this watch was the rubber. Now I love everything on it. Thanks for looking BEFOREAFTERBEFOREAFTER
Another one of my workhorses broke a little while back doing some work at a friends house. The spring bar in question was about 10 years old and pretty corroded. This is the one that survived. This made the watch unusable as I had no 22mm spring bars in my inventory. I needed to replace the band as it was because doing a project at work last August I spilled a mess of PVC glue on the strap and it did a real number on the finish. It still wfunctioned as a strap but just didn't sit right with me. You can see in the above photos the wear on the case and crown. It's base metal so years of wear have made the edge of the case sharp shving my wrist to the point of bleeding at times. So...This gave me the oportunity to experiment with this particular piece. Here are all the pieces of my 15? year old work horse. A quick trip in the sand blaster on low pressure, a dip in the ultra sonic cleaner, a light spray of matt black powder and a trip to the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and we have th
