Once in a while these days a simple watch comes out that is attractive and competent without being overly classic. The Fortis Square has a name about as simple as the watch itself. The appeal is there, yet beguiling. Fortis is known for making well built professional watches worn by pilots, astronauts, and similar demanding users. No current Fortis watch is a meant to be a jewelry watch, or anything too far detached from a functional companion. French made? 7 jewel, I thought it looked interesting, I cant quite make out the hallmark under the balance or the nuber, here's a couple of pics any info would be great, I'm geussing 50's era.i think 238 is under balance

I tried on this 2010 SuperOcean today. What an incredible watch. Though it says 42mm, it feels much smaller due to the dial size. The price is 2,300 dollars, as usual, I was tempted but did not pull the trigger.I would like to hear some opinions from others on this watch...,

Hi guys,I know it is an old topic but back then when it was discussed the 5170 hadn't hit the stores. Which of these 2 chronos would be your choice the 5170J or 5960R (new white dial)?Thank you!
