Something you dont see many of here.Arrived yesterday AfternoonReturned from the Gym and found a nice surprise waiting for me, my black bezel Orsa Lithium Sea Angler.Id never seen a Sea Angler in person and now I know what the excitement over them is all about. Im very pleased.Initial impressions are:A very comfortable to wear, large watch (even with a 6 1/2inch wrist. A supple and nicely designed rubber strap.Possibly the best shade of orange Ive ever seen on a dive watch.Better than expected lume.No nonsense dial and hands with small, inoffensive script and Logo.Nicely finished case.Cant think of much Id change about this one.Going to Jamaica in two weeks and this is definately going with me. Is The Thrill is Gone?????
Why does there be to be so little excitement for this brand anymore. Outside of the hardcore devotees, it seems the brand is almost viewed negatively these days. Aftermarket prices, certainly reflecting the lack of interest.Would love to get some thoughts from the hardcore Panera lovers. I've always enjoyed these great timepieces.

Explorer 214270 (Newer vs. Old?)
I'm pretty sure I'm going to add an Explorer 214270 to my collection and looking to get peoples thoughts. I love the watch, but I go back and forth as to which version of the reference I want. (The earlier one seems to go for a little less $ pre-owned). I have no plans on selling the watch anytime soon, nor do I view it as an investment, but I'm curious if you guys think the non lume version may one day be sought as a rarer collectable piece? or will it be like some of the transitional references that don't really see a premium?I know I don't have a bad choice here, just curious others thoughts on the matter.Thanks!
