- I purchased this watch for my fiance and he loved it. He typically likes the brushed metal jewelry so this was perfect. The watch is beautiful in person, and I was very pleased when I picked it up after ordering it online.

Baume & Mercier MOA08329 wrist watches news:
This is a watch that I really never thought was going to be made. It started out as a concept watch called the "Galibier" based upon a concept car from Bugatti with the same name. Fabien Cacheux designed it to have a perlage decorated "drum case," Bugatti logo, and an interesting strap system. Less than a year later, a more practical version of the piece is being made - but in very limited quantities and it will be called the "Cacheux Elephant Automatic."Although France based Cacheux tries to explain the "Elephant" name, I still don't quite get it. Something about being so gigantic and respect demandingOh well, no point in dwelling on that. The Elephant has a lot of interesting talking points. Most notably the movement, as well as the case and strap. It is really the strap design that will catch most people's eyes. The idea is simple. Cacheux will take your (the customers) wrist measurements, and cut a calf leather strap to your size. Of course there will be some wiggle room, as the s
Guys,Seen this at my local and they are listing it for a pretty low price.Dial seems intact - hands have been replaced I think.Tried looking up the added value of the Meister German seller on the dial but could not seem to find much. Also - on the case back on the inside I see a 105 012 66 as well as a 145 012 SP marking...Thanks anything helps. Is this a steal, or a project?
I swung by the Omega boutique in the area and had the chance to inspect and try on the new PO Cal 8500 42mm and the new PO Chrono 45mm. And for fun of course I had to give the Ploprof another try! :-)The PO 42mm was just a pleasure strap on. The size is very compelling for an everyday piece. The matte dial, sharp hands and new LQM bezel melts together very nicely. It feels very solid and high quality. My only nag was the lug width could be another mm or two, especially when you try it on the rubber strap (ever excellent one btw) it just appears a bit under-dimensioned and not in proportion. Overall, it is a very nice piece but it does scream Buy me!, at least in my book.Next up was the PO Chrono 45mm with the new Calibre 9300. It actually felt rather good on the wrist size-wise (I was wearing a SD 16600 for the last week). The design and look is just very attractive and it oozes quality. But the +19mm thickness is just a deal killer for me. It looks redonkelous when you view it in prof
