Baume & Mercier A10027 wrist watches news:
We are a bit late this month, but you have a few more hours to enter for a chance to win the cool looking UNIQ P-47 Chronograph watch. So enter here. There is also the four LEGO watches giveaway that was our special mid-month giveaway that you have a bit longer to enter. All good stuff!
What should be the pride of my collection is my Patek.Just lately I have been really dissapointed, actually heart broken about some things.I have a so-called friend. He's actually the one who got me into the whole watch thing. He's the type of guy you could trade your ten dollar bill for his twenty, but it still feels likehe got ya! I have swore to myself a million times that Im done dealing with this guy buthe's retired, and all he does is travel around and collect watches. He comes up with somereally desireable stuff, and always runs right to me cause Im a sucker!! Long story short,My last deal with him was a gorgeous Panerai Luminor. Lot of cash and a couple of my mid-grades to seal the deal. So, I come home with my story for the wife of "why??" Jumpon line to prove Im the winner, and BLAM! I'm the proud owner of a really nice fake!!It hit the fan!!! Got the "told you so's" My heart hit my feet. I started studying everything I ownthat came from him. From the Speedmaster Pro to the pa
Where My Watch it¡äs made for!
Any frequenters of the also excellent Watchuseek forums may recognise this post, but I also thought of posting here too, as I find the members of this forum to be more knowledgeable :)After falling hopelessly in love with the 2254.50, I decided to pool my funds so I could get one....After searching the bay and other online resources, at this point of time; I have found that it retails (used, in reasonably good condition) from about $1200 to $1400 USD. As you all know, with Omega no longer producing the 2254.50, Omega fans have hinted at the idea of it becoming a classic. With this in mind, do you think prices will increase in the future?Should I get one now? With around the same amount of money I could get a brand new Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece, which I also like very much... Something along the lines of this:Any thoughts? Is the hype surrounding the 2254 really justified?
Hello all--Like most of you in the forum, my love of wristwatches has led me here and I am ready to buy my first Omega. Have checked out my local AD here in my province, and they appear pretty firm on their MSRP's (-10%)--there is not a lot of competition here.I am looking abroad for a competitive price on the PO 2200.50 or a Speedy Pro--am also considering a used or NOS 2254 (if they still exist). I am hearing about a lot of AD's Stateside that are willing to deal. Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction?BTW--thanks to all for the information that I have been able to pick up here.Dan
