ADs and Non-AD dealers and Boutiques have made for big ongoing investigative pleasure for me over the past years, and I have found here in Hong Kong at least:Boutiques: that would not be able to give any discount, and would have very good boutique-exclusive pieces, like the Platinum 5001, and the Platinum 3762Authorized Dealers: that would straight up offer 10% and not budge a cent more because they can't. Comparatively, Zenith ADs, especially for older models, are able to drop ratesNon AD dealers: who can offer up to 22% usually, because of parallel imports from Europe, usually Switzerland, and ship it in. Aquanaut Deployant Clasp Wear
In looking for a used Aquanaut I have seen quite a few of the deployant clasps that appear misaligned or with significant gaps between the two halves. This seems to be very different than when the watch is reviewed on videos or in pictures of new watches.Can anyone relate their experience with the wear on the clasp and perhaps how to prevent premature misalignment of the clasp? Or, perhaps the clasp can be serviced and realigned during regular maintenance.

Incoming one week before Basel
This watch started to get my attention late last year. My job requires a lot of travel so I had been hunting for one in different places - Portugal, France, the UK, Thailand, Hong Kong, and many states in the US. No luck, until I visited an AD in Texas where they do not keep the wait list, but require 50% deposit refundable at month 6 if the watch is not here. I was told that it would take about 2 months, but finally turned out to be 4 weeks!!!If I have to pick one favorite aspect of this watch, it will be the Proportion!!!Rolex just totally nailed it with a wider bracelet and a perfect height making its unique presence. This watch is something that you have to see it in person to appreciate.Now it is time for picture on my flat wrist is 6.5.
