Amongst vintage dive watches, few are as delectably cool as the dual-crown "super-compressors" (though only some are actual super-compressors)… in fact, we like them so much here at worn&wound that we have a whole article dedicated to them. Dual-crown divers have a certain refinement to them, balancing sport and more formal elements in, typically, compact cases. The results are true gentleman's sport watches, with an elegance that modern divers rarely meet.Unfortunately, they are few and far between, and though were once meant for the water, these days are better kept dry due to their age. It was great waking up late in the middle of the week!Headed out to find some chow and saw this I had a great little Greek omelet with some fantastic black coffee Twin cannons to prevent jaywalkingThe famous Cafe Du MondeJackson SquareCheck out all the buggies waiting for SkypilotHere's the Moonwalk along the Mississippi River where I smoked my cigar and took a pic of the bridge last nightAlittle ways up the walkway is this little boatHeaded back to the hotel, packed up and got back on the roadSaw this cool Mustang GT. We gave each other a thumbs upGot home and mom had platters of sushi waiting for me!My folks still buy the little 8oz glass bottles of CokeThe folks have a ton of stuff growing around their placeMan, I can imagine me having a cigar right here. Hi guys,Not long ago I flipped my 5712 that I dearly loved, to finance part of a very good investment, I had hesitated to sell the AP but decided to sell the PP as the AP had a very special number for me.So happy I did, it's been discontinued and seems they made less than 600, so it's quite limited and exclusive IMO, how many 5712 do you think have been made throughout the years? Probably much more but how many? around 5-6000? Anyone know how many were made each year? In any case as much as I loved my Patek getting it back will be way easier than a CE diver, plus the prices might soar due to unavailability¡.
