noob help... is this watch any good?
Hello all, I am in the market for a watch (never was a watch wearer so this will be my "first" one) and came across this Seiko SGF206. I am looking for a gold watch with a gold face (mostly for the look as I use my phone to tell time). Is this any good? Is it (or Seiko watches in general) considered a "cheap" watch? Seiko Watch, Men's Gold Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet SGF206Its listed at $270 and goes for around or under $200I wont be wearing it all the time, just here and there and when i dress up. Would I be better off spending my money on something else? I'm in my mid 20s btw.I dont know much about watches and dont want to regret buying it, and dont need people looking down on me lol.Thanks for the help!

Total newbie with some questions
Mostly joined this forum help out with some research. I recently rediscovered my affinity for watches, I'm not sure I'd consider myself a collector per se but I do like a good looking watch. I recently stumbled across what seemed like a really good deal on the local craigslistHere. Now the use of stock photos and vague claims of high dollar value made me suspicious (ish).I was able to locate the company's website: Here. and another website with the same logo, but different models (about the same price point though) here.Those websites look fairly legitmate so I was about to pull the trigger on that watch but I decided to check one more place and look what I found.After seeing the price on ebay I'm really glad I didn't snap up the local one for what I thought was a steal. My question is are these watches any good? Will I be getting a decent quality peice that won't turn itself into a glorified bracelet in a couple of months? Are these really $1500 watches that can be had for just over
