Hey guys, i'm new here but i've been a watch person for a long time. So glad i found this site and there are more sick people out there like me! (My fiancee calls me sick because she beleives 1 nice watch is enough)I'm interested in the Hamilton Khaki Regatta Men's Auto with blue face and blue strap. It's on overstock right now for $840.99. I see it says the retail price is $1,395.Is this the type of watch that will come down farther in price as time goes on? Is it a new model? I know the Khaki has been around for quite some time.Thanks :)

My wife surprised me with an early birthday present today:I've wanted one of these since I first saw a picture of one a few years ago....what a cool, classic look!Another view:A shot of the cal. 69 movement:Looks clean and runs. However, when I put the watch on my timegrapher, it's clear she needs some TLC...the amplitude is weak and the beat error is bad:SO, as much as I want to wear this one, it's off to my watchmaker for service.....thanks for letting me share my newest pickup with the group!Greg
