Just wondering if you have one, ever thought of, or saw in the wild a license plate with a Horology theme? A Brand name, Watch theme, or Lingle associated (WIS). Here in Hawaii we are allowed only 6 Letters/ Numbers or a combination of. Since I like Divers best I was thinking the word " FATHOM" for depth and synonymous with Imagine. Cool and catchy I think. Anyone?

This may be an old question.I am reading on the new 8500/8501 movements, and the Omega in power people are saying they plan on putting this movement in all their watches, soon. Does anyone out there know much about this movement. Is it worth waiting for? The key quality, for me, was it needs very little maintenance. I have also read recently, that watch machanics are getting dangerously low. It will become difficult to get you quaility automatic serviced. jdsons (Julian)PS. I am getting most my information out of Watchtime magazine's, Omega special.
I¡¯ve been trying to find a review of the Rolex oyster flex. What I really want to know is about how it wears over time. Sometimes when dealing with different types of these materials overtime they can get gummy. We don¡¯t know what this material will be like in 10 years like we do the steal or precious metals. Does anyone have any input. Does it hurt the value props that of the Daytona or the yacht master currently on the oyster flex. Also does Rolex have a oyster flex replacement plan.
