Hello, I'm interested in picking up my first Omega. I like the classic look of this watch and think it would look great with a suit. However, I have bought mostly Rolex's in the past. Can anyone help me with this?? How do I know if its real? What is the value of the watch?? Thanks!!!

New to me . . this little thing
Owner of many many Pams since early 2000s . . but lost the excitement with the brand (like many others have unfortunately). Also, decided that 47mm was not for me anymore and sold my last Pam 372 a year or so ago. Despite this I would always say Panerai is my favorite watch brand and the 372 was possibly my favorite watch I've owned. I'm not financially fortunate enough to keep lots of watches in a safe deposit, never to be worn, so it had to go. Anyway, moving on... I've always quite fancied the 512 since it came out. When I got the opportunity to have one at the right price I grabbed it. They are quite rare in the UK for some reason. Very few come up for sale. Enjoying wearing this one. So 'svelte', hardly know you have it on but still has enough Panerai presence. Loving the manual wind . . and then there's being back in the strap changing game !
