Bell & Ross BR126 wrist watches news:
I posted a couple of wrist shots in someone elses thread, but here are a few more close ups if anyone is interested. It's my first Hamilton (and first automatic) and I almost went with a Field Chrono, but the less complicated dial on this King ultimately won my affection. On my new Bruno's ;)The second hand almost sweeps RainbowSuper Lume!No idea of my next watch will be a Hamilton, but I'm already shopping another piece!
The watch budget is spent, so this will be my last new watch for a while. But what a watch! It is over 51mm (including stem) wide, 14.8mm thick and the band comes in at 23.8mm. It has an anonymous Japanese automatic movement that hacks. Best of all it cost me less than $90.Croton Automatic CA301154TTBKObligatory Wrist ShotEverything seems to work OK, the only issue so far has been with the bracelet. When I went to size it most of the screws were loose. Good thing I had my handy little bottle of Low Strength Loctite 222...
I came across pictures of this watch, I really want to buy one but I have no idea what the make is. It would be at least a full year or two old- even if anyone knows of a watch that looks really similar that'd be great too! Sorry for the terible picture quality, and thanks for your time!
I've been offered these watches by a friend of mine who is going through a divorce. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with these watches or their used value. Could someone give me an opinion of value for good and average condition? Boxes are included with each.
Happy Holidays! Here is my dilemma:I have a Rolex Seadweller as my everyday watch. I am looking to get something in the category of a sporty dress watch and take my collection to another level by adding one of the above. In Patek looking at a calatrava 5296 sector dial in either white or rose goldVsFP Journe Chronometre BleuvsLange 1815 time only 38,5mm in white or rose gold.Any opinions??
