I've been wondering why on a lot of watches they display 10:10 as the time. Is it a position for the hands that helps display the watch face the best? Just curious.

Something unusual
I am new to the luxury watch market and I am looking at buying my first.I have however set myself a task of getting something unusual in brand or design.Two brands I have identifed are:Armand Nicolet model numbers TM7, Lo8 and LS8.Frederique Constant model Heartbeat Tourbillion and Runabout.However in the UK Armand Nicolet do not have a distributor and Frederique Constant have one retailer but for their everyday watches and not for the models I have highlighted. How do I go about reserching prices, availabilty and eventually purchasing one of these watches. Also any advice on these watch brands would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help.

RGRC Update
Just got an email from AP saying that they already started production of the updated RGRC with the 3126/3840 caliber. Would you rather wait for the new movement or get the good old 2226/2840?I really like the new 3126/3840 caliber, however, I really hope that they won't increase the retail price. Since the recent price drop, the RGRC is a steal!
