Bell and Ross BR03-92-RED RADAR wrist watches news:
Fed. Ex. will only insure up to $500.00. How would one go about getting full insurance on a watch being returned ?Thanks
Hi im Joe I'm new to the forums. Ive been collecting watches my whole life. I have a special fondeness to vintage Hamiltons. I thoguht i would share my newest Hamilton. Im not sure what model it is though. it is a 10kgf with a 736 movemnt. the dial on it is quite nice.
I've about given up on my search for an auto or manual wind watch without a date, that I really like, and that is in my price range. So, I'm considering the following, and would like opinions:Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic, Tissot Le Locle, Christopher Ward C5 or one of the various EL (sorry, I forget how to spell out the name) automatics.I may be able to squeeze in an EL quartz as well...Thanks for any opinions!
Hi all,I found this sale on french ebay for an Audemars Royal Oak, for 99990€. Not a bad price! Except that after a careful reading of the ad, I got suspicious.. The seller is actually trying to sell a picture of the watch, not the watch itself! I sent him/her a message just to make sure, and I got the answer: "La photo comme ecrit sur l'annonce" (The picture as describe on the ad) !! So someone might be paying 100K for a picture. I reported it to ebay...Here is the ebay link, feel free to delete if it's against forum rules:Audemars Piguet Luxe Photo DE Montre Audemars Royal OAK Offshore Sport J
What causes a 3126/3840 movement to run faster when worn? From my timing, I found that my ROO gained 94s when worn between 9am till 6.45pm. When left off the wrist, it gained about 14s between 6.45pm to 9am the next morning. Is this the 'rebanking' issue that some have spoken about? Is it a simple case of minor adjustment needed or is a major service required? The watch is about 1.5 years old and still under warranty but the nearest APSC is Singapore. Thanks all!
