Breguet 7337BA/1E/9V6 wrist watches news:
Hello folks,One of my good friends is interested in this particular Oris. We happened to notice them mention "flexible lugs"oris-watch/collection...&id_product=17Would appreciate any input on what exactly do they mean, and if they do indeed make the watch more comfortable on the wrist.
I have 2 of these Benruses, and they have Seiko Automatic movements in them and both run great......Now the first one I had, I always have a metal band on it......(and the second one, came with the orginal band (marjed Benrus) but was lacking the little piece that holds it to the case.....) So, I thought I'd put a brown leather watch band on this one , and lo and behold, I think I much prefer the leather band....the watch itself has a wide brown band in the dial, so the brown band matches that as closely as possible.....Whatchu think?????now here it is with the best metal band I could find for it ........now it the band just had brown or black thread !!!
Looks like the big watch manufacture like JLC, IWC, Panerai, Omega heard about the we had 2 weeks ago here at WTF. Right now to buy luxury watches online can only be done thru a grey dealer. Most watch AD do not advertise on the internet. Thats changing soon.I found this article today about Richemont Ltd and Swatch Group to acquire Top Level Internet Domain names. Names like buy.omega, shop.panerai, etc...................Yes, looks like they are finally coming online.Muttley, check this out!!P.S Thanks to Ulackfocus link I found this.Special Report: Richemont, Swatch To Acquire Top Level Internet Domains | Perpetuelle
A few of us from this forum are off to Geneva next week for 5 days at Patek. 15 North American collectors were invited by Patek, Henry Stern Agency, and the best damn AD in the US to do this trip. We were very blessed and fortunate to be among the 15. We will do our best to document everything we are allowed to. VC is going to give me some do’s and don'ts over the weekend. Frem is also going to give me tutoring on how to photo document a trip. In no way should anyone think we will live up to Frem, but we will do our best. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. It is a bit of a pilgrimage for me.
By now I've read every opinion about this watch and heard all the griping about the 30m water resistance. This didn't concern me. Its the aesthetics and the size that drove my decision. That and a trusted seller offered it up full kit, AD purchase at 31% off retail...you do the math. I would not have walked into an AD store and paid the $7300 +tax they were asking.Yes I understand the whole History of Panerai and the legacy as a dive watch. And I understand how and why the Paneristi loyalists are upset by this watch. But they aren't the ones wearing it and because of them and the markets general negative opinion, I was able to buy this watch for hundreds less than a SubC.I have a Rolex SeaDweller 116600 so I don't need another dive watch. Frankly IMHO, the SD is one of the best pieces Rolex ever made.So back to the Pam 676. I was looking to fill a hole in my small collection with a dressy-ish/sporty-ish watch. that didn't look like I was wearing a compass on my wrist.SO...what I want t
