Now that we are all knee-deep in Pre-Baselworld news, Ball has announced one of their new models in advance of this year's fair. Called the Fireman Storm Chaser Pro, this new chronograph is a distinct variation from the Storm Chaser and Storm Chaser DLC models we've seen in the past. Borne of a partnership with notable storm chaser, meteorologist, member of the Ball Explorers Club and Ball Ambassador, Dr. Joshua Wurman, the Storm Chaser Pro brings a new case size and bezel design to this lineup of glowing sports chronographs.At 42 mm wide, the Storm Chaser Pro is actually a bit smaller than Ball's current 43 mm Storm Chaser. I'll debut a new Seiko 5 Automatic SNK125K I picked up from the 'bay that just arrived Friday.It's a small diameter 37mm inexpensive watch but it's already starting to grow on me because I like the dial color with the gold-colored indices.It's unique dial color adds a bit needed variety to my blossoming collection.

Once you go AP, you never go back?
As many of you know, I traded my Daytona for a black-dialed ROC 25860. I've got some other nice watches, but think I may have the AP bug. I'm finding it is harder and harder to grab my other watches off of the winder. Is this a permanent malady or are my other watches safe from flipping? Some times I think I can have my AP and a beater.

5980 chrono hand resets to 59
Looking to get a pre-loved 5980 from a friend but noticed this when i was inspecting the watch. When I reset the chrono hand of the 5980, it resets to 59 instead of 0. I have to double click the button ( so essentially its holding at 0 with 1 second elapsed on the timer ) to engage the chrono function so it will align to 0. Is it okay if i leave it at 0 with that method or better if the chrono function is reset Thanks!
