Breitling Steel wrist watches news:
It took a piece earlier I liked the IWC. They are loose to worship, especially the authoritarian look models ilk the IWC Portuguese and Flieger. Also, I have never luxurioustion of these watches were overestimated.
I'll keep this short and intentionally vague. Suffice to say, I was at an AD and decided to purchase a new Turn-o-graph. The sales rep took the watch to the back to size it. It needed one link removed. Several (maybe 15) minutes later, returned to say that I'll have to come back Monday, the screws were locktighted too tight and couldn't be removed. I asked if the screw got buggered up. Yes was the answer. When I looked, not one, but ALL of the screws were mangled. I guess when one wouldn't come out another was tried until they gave up (ran out of screws actually).I got sick to my stomach. They said they'd send it to their benchman and have them use an electric screwdriver to remove them. Promised me new screws and that the watch wouldn't be scratched, and that I could pick it up on Monday. I left and just felt awful. A purchase of a $6775 watch should be perfect. They should have the proper skills and tools to take a link out with NO problems whatsoever. I knew I'd never
Thinking of getting this for (what I think) is a low price.Seller says it's possibly a military watch, radium on the hands but it doesn't glow anymore. He also says it run and keeps good time.Is it worth getting, and maybe cleaning up?

After selling my 510 a few years ago, the Panerai bug has bit me again as my small collection is begging for one. In all seriousness, I am missing the versatility that a Panerai brings (with its strap changes) and generally just the clean and unmistakable look of Panerai. I always thought a 44 was too big but realized that after owning a 510, you either go big or go home with a Panerai...within reason of course. I was (and still am) pretty close to pulling the trigger on the 533 - love the look of the ecru dial, appreciate the technical complications, etc. A lot of love for the 233 on the forum and don't get me wrong, love it too...but just felt a little 'cold' and more tool watch oriented after trying it on a few times. And I think I like having that extra 3 or 9 on the dial. That said, I recently tried on the 422. Never really considered it due to the size. And wow...blown away at how much I loved it on the wrist. The hands, the dial, the manual movement, the PR on the back...just ti
