Breitling AB011011/G6 wrist watches news:
I am new here and there is one thing i need to ask.Is it just me or anyone out there who cant make up their mind between two great pieces of art.Cant hold the money any longer....1) Black bond Co-ax (the belt guys.. u can tell from a mile away)or 2) Steel PO 42 no colorThanks and looking forward to some helpful advice. Also whether the AR coating is anything to consider one is on the inside and PO has both ways,.
I've dropped by the forum on occasion to lurk and drool when I have a free second. The silver dialed Spitfire and black dialed Ingenieur have practically begged for me to take them home but I've resisted so far. Who knows how much longer that will last. I finally took the plunge on my watchmaker's recommendation and purchased a late 50's SS dress wind IWC with the manual winding calibre 89. From what I've read and been told, this is an excellent movement - nearly equal in quality to the Vacheron Constantin 1120 according to my watchmaker. I always respected the brand, and being a vintage kind of guy it made sense to grab this.Anyway, if time allows I'll see you guys soon!
Hi guys,Completely noobie to AP, and am considering RO QP, haven't decided if I want it in steel or gold or two-tone. I've been doing some research on the various models available in the market and have come across a discrepancy in the logo font. Maybe some more experienced members can comment. These 2 examples have the same font:C-series in the upcoming Sotheby's auction:.sothebys/en/auctions/...68/lot.53.htmlD-series for sale:.watchuwant/watches/au...k#.VVwg4PmqpBcThis one in question. It is a C series but the logo is different and the sub dials are different..thebeautifulwatch/fr/...al-oak-qp.htmlCan anyone comment?
Hi guys. Three years ago I sold my complete set 2208.50 to a good friend of mine to fund a Sub. Before selling it I had it serviced to give my friend a perfect watch with many years of peace of mind. It was a nice gesture and I had no idea it would be useful to me as well. Last friday I was visiting him at his new office and I was surprised with his offer to sell the Omega back to me, and as he kept it absolutely mint, having it back was a no brainer. I'm really happy that my Omega PO 2500 found it's way back home. Thanks for reading, guys.
Just over 3 weeks ago I was in the market to buy an Omega. I was torn between the PO and the AT. I ended up buying a black face 39mm Aqua Terra and did not look back. I thought for the money it was a great watch and the fit and finish was great. I also liked the 45mm PO, and it took a couple of trips to the AD to decide on my choice. For the last three weeks I have worn the AT pretty much all the time and it has run very accurate. Thursday when I went to bed I put my AT on my dresser, and when I got up on friday morning my watch was not running. This was after 4 days of wear. So I wound the watch and it ran fine. Saturday morning when I got up the thing quit at 4:30 AM. I tapped the crystal and it started up and about 20 seconds later it quit again. I realized something was defiantly wrong with the watch so I called the AD I bought it from. I asked for the sales person who I purchased it from and she was not in, so another person offered to help me.I started to explain the problem and
