Breitling a2133012/b993-1lt wrist watches news:
I had just been chatting with an AD courtesy of the recently northward-bound Trickster. We had a fairly long telephone conversation ranging from his own business practice to Omega, its' products and the future of the brand. Perhaps it was inevitable that the discussion would turn to the Speedmaster since this is after all, Omega's iconic watch, the one that ranks amongst the all-time greats and a proven world-beater on more than just one occasion as we all know.It was expected too that we would spend a little time on the Fiftieth Anniversary models of the Speedmaster of which there really are not very many. There's the Patch Series of course which a number of our members have, beneath the sapphire crystal of which is featured the seahorse emblem in gold along with the words " 50th Anniversary " and 1957, the year in which the Speedmaster was introduced by Omega.
Just purchased a black monster automatic watch that is running 15 sec fast per day, have been told watch makers set automatics fast on purpose because they all tend to slow down as they get older, is this true or will I have to have this setting adjusted. TIA
Hello AP forum. I have been thinking about a chronograph to add to my collection since it will be too long of a wait for the ceramic daytona. I have considered the omega dark side of the moon or a non ceramic daytona (which I have already owned). What is the go to chronograph in the AP line right now that can be had preowned at a relatively good value? Are discounts on these models possible new from AD? I am not too familiar with AP just interested in possibly branching out and looking for a bit of info on the brand. I currently own a D blue and BLNR. I do tend to like bigger watches at the moment but on the smaller side is also ok.PS: budget is 10-15kusd. I am not even sure if this budget is large enough for any AP chronograph so that info is also appreciated.
In my opinion, the white dial nautilus is very often looked over. In some cases it even gets a lot of unjustified hate. I know there are a bunch of owners here so feel free to post up your pics!
How's the availability in the Los Angeles area? Are ADs (such as Geary's) asking above MSRP?
