I picked up this pocket watch at an antique store yesterday while traveling in Austin Texas. Of late I have become interested in vintage pocket watches and this looked interesting when I saw it in the store. Unfortunately, my knowledge of watches is very limitedIt is not working and the movement seems to be in rough shape. I am hoping I might be able to get it repaired when I get back home.I have been trying to find some information on this watch through google searches with no luck at all. Searching for the name "Granby" is not really coming up with much. On the movement it is stamped "gothic watch company." Just gotten what is my first AP last week, and it's this SS Diver. My dealer advised to set the quick date after 6pm, but according to the manual it says between 1am �C 6pm. To avoid any contradiction, which should be the right way to do it?Coming from the Rolexes, I've never had the need to worry about such stuffs.
