Breitling A13322 wrist watches news:
I have been trying to find out a few facts about the new POs: How many of them have the LM bezel? How thick are the cases of the 42mm versions with the 8500 movement? Is the orange bezel going to LM? Thanks!
. . . while my wife was looking at Hanna Montana watches for our daughter (birthday No. 6 coming up - Miley/HM is the party theme), I was looking at some of the newer Citizen Eco Drives. I spied the BL5380-58E (stock photo below). Good looking watch. Love the Eco Drives. Love this particular Eco Drive. But with a price tag of $425, I was gonna pass. The JCP gal tells me all the Citizens are 25% off. "OK", I say "just for yucks, scan it and tell me what it comes to." She scans it. The price: $165. WHAAAAAAT? She scans it again. $165. Double-checks the SKU. $165."Merry Christmas" she says. "It's obviously an error, but if you want it, I have to sell it for $165 . . . plus the 25% off. Just don't tell anybody". I almost launch myself on the **** watch to get it out of the store before something goes wrong. Or right. You get the idea. $123 for this watch? Fuhgettaboutit. My wife saunters over and I figure she's gonna KILL me for buying another watch. Until I tell her what's going on. Sh
I finally got out of the house for a bit before our big road trip and took the mascot to the local AAA ballgame. Here are some pics of the game and the mascot. That large building is the KODAK World HQ. A few years ago Rochester was part of a large art project called Horses on Parade. Different companies would sponsor an artist to decorate a life sized fiberglass horse in different ways. This one was sponsored by the Rochester Red Wings Baseball club. This is the attendance for the Red Wings so far this season.Team store and mascot.Sorry about the quality of the pics. I didn't bring my DSLR so I had to resort to my phone for the pics.It turned out to be a good game. After a slow start we were down 4-0 by the end of the 3rd. We fought our way back to tie it up by the end of the 7th and ended up winning with a walk off HR in the bottom of the 11th.
New black 15400 thanks to David SW. I spent a long time looking for a Grail watch to celebrate the year 2016. It was a significant wedding and work anniversary and I considered a lot of different watches. I thought I wanted a DaytonaC since it was released this year but my AD is giving me the runaround. I considered the 15202 but it was too small/thin (sorry purists).I considered the 15300 but couldn't find one and didn't care for the non color matching date wheel if I didn't get white.I considered the 5711 but still haven't been able to try one on, but luckily I didn't really like the similar sized 5726. Sadly the treatment I got at all the Patek dealers was off-putting. I mean, how important do I have to be to spend $25k on a stainless watch. The closest runner up was the Aquanaut but I didn't like it on the bracelet. The 5167 on rubber may be my next piece but I figured for this much money, the watch ought to be a little flashy.Pics or it didn't happenimage.jpg
First of all, thanks a million to all those who replied to my earlier polls with your opinions, really appreciate it. The road has been long and hard, alot of decision to be made along the way, but finally it is here...(Pardon my lousy photography skills, or a lack of)The beautiful box as seen on so many post...Watch in box...First wrist shot...My first day wearing it out...As you can imagine, i am a very happy man, with a big smile all day long.
