- I received this watch (blue face) as a gift from my wife. It is absolutely beautiful. The blue does look purple in certain lighting. The 24-hour subdial is ideal for travel as it can be set for a second time zone..

Breitling a1337011/b973-1cd wrist watches news:
I am closing in on a limited edition [numbered] watch. As with all OCD WIS, I also have my quirks and a new question is on the tableThe back of the case is inscribed with number/run (for example 412/1000). Dealers have told me that it is common for the first 10 items (single digits) as well as the last 10 to be reserved/exclusive to VIP clients of the brand. Likewise, the repeating 111, 222, 333, 444, etc. In addition, some "nice looking", mirror or other combinations may be harder to come by, like 123/321 or year of purchase, like 2011/3000 (if you bought it in 2011, for example). In your experience, is there any way to "call" the number, or at least say "anything but the digit 3" where 413/1000, for example, would be a no-Go? Is there any way to list maybe 20 or 30 possible combinations on a wish list and have the dealer request this? How does the limited edition/numbered watch buying go? What is your take on the topic? Thanks for sharing
.cnet/news/robert-down...-watch-is-meh/Came across this on Cnet. Didn't think there would be mention of any other watches, but apparently he likes his Omega. There is a video of the interview. He doesn't show which model he is wearing, but it was interesting to see someone who wears a traditional mechanical watch chime in on the Apple watch.
Credit to Father John on another forum but his news is worth repeating here, the price on a hesalite Speedmaster 3570.50 is a rather staggering ?2,498 or $3,850! The last MRP I was aware of for the model was ?2,090, which I make to be a 19.5% increase.Wow! (In a bad way)
Love having my 5711/1R out in the sun or in amongst the trees. Hope you enjoy the pics.
