Breitling A17040 wrist watches news:
I finally figured out who this watch is good for! The Scarecrow. On good days it can be the Wizard of Oz scarecrow, on bad days, the one from Batman. Why that character? Well the "technofabric" strap of the watch just seems to match the burlap sackmask that the scarecrow wears. Why is this lately iteration of the Concord C1 called the Radar? Your guess it as good as mine, but this is one of Concord's most noble attempts at making the C1 design work.See my full article on the Concord C1 Radar watch here at Haute Living. I've been very luck at yard sales lately (I buy and sell antiques, as well as watches), and today wasn't any different. I went to one sale today that I saw was going on locally on craigslist that looked like it could be a good one. Well, I got there, and there was tons of good stuff! I asked the man if I could make a pile, and he said sure! There was no prices on anything, so you had to ask for the prices, or make offers, etc. Well, I was there for about ten minutes and I was going through a very shallow box, and I saw what looked to be a watch on a really tacky 1960's/70's leather cuff bracelet. I pick it up, read the dial, asked how much it was, and put it with all of my stuff! He wanted $1 for it, so $1 I gave him, paid for my stuff, and left. It was a 1960's Omega Seamaster with a steel case in fairly good condition, and running to boot! I just took some dirty pictures of it after I took it off of that terrible strap. Here's what I got!:I didn't think I did to bad. It makes up for
Just sharing some new pics I took of this beauty. The amazing 15707CE. It's a tough watch to photograph, but I'm getting the hang of it nowSo thrilled with this watch...
So as I was commenting on my 15400ST incoming thread that I wanted to get the conversion kit to be able to rock a leather strap and that way is like having 2 watches lol one with leather the other with bracelet, just waiting a few more days to maybe score an oem deploying clasp cheaper than the boutique (fingers crossed)
