Breitling A13341C3-C893BLLT wrist watches news:
I finally got the Colt and was so happy with it until I looked closely at the dial where it says 'CHRONOMETRE' and the letter 'T' is so faint, almost as though it just didn't print properly whereas the other letters and words on the dial are bold and sharp. Is this normal or should I take it back to the AD ?? Someone who saw it suggested it may be a Breitling security thing where they do it intentionally so that fakes can be identified??? Has anyone else had inconsistencies in the lettering sharpness and darkness? Is the word 'CHRONOMETRE' printed on or painted on or what?
Greetings Everyone...I have been wearing my "neglected" Citizens watch for the past three weeks. I have been wearing one of my two Ball watches for a long time, decided to put on my Calibre 8700. It was set to the Atomic Clock when we went back to Standard Time. This watch has not gained or lost since that time. Accuracy is unbelieveable! Falling in "love" with this watch all over again![IMG][/IMG]Picture does not do it justice...!BestBob
Hey all. Would love to hear from the group on what you think would be the better daily wearer. I am thinking between a diver or BB right now. I tend to lean toward the BB (on rubber strap) because of the bezel which I believe would handle abuse better and I'm not a huge fan of the bezek rotate crown on the diver. I do like the (I believe) better resale capabilities of the diver. My current daily driver is a 15300 with an occasional wear of a Patek Aquanaut.
Does anyone know the reason why AP choose to have display backs on some models of RO while not the others? For example, only the basic Royal Oaks have display backs. The other models with chrono or dual time complication as well as some models with leather strap all don't have display backs. Same for the offshores. Is it to minimize thickness?
Hey guys. Im about to make my first Omega purchase - something ive been building up towards for the better part of 3 years (always thought id only be a Rolex guy, but here we are..!)I will need to make a bezel swap from Orange to Black - My planned set up is black face with orange numbers and black bezel at 42mm (basically a 2201.51), however, these don't pop up every day for a good price. I found a stella deal on an 2909 (orange bezel) so am planning on simply swapping the bezel to make my (new) dream watch. My questionIs there anyone in NYC (tried Omega already - not willing to wait 3 weeks) that i can buy/trade a black OME-082SU1702 black bezel from. Has anyone had experience doing this in NYC? Diamond District my best shot?ORShould I just go and buy one from Ofrei and knock this out myself? I have some mild experience swapping bezels. I have no desire for an orange bezel ever so would most probably immediately sell the old one.Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks and looking forward to joi
