A Look at the Autodromo Prototipo Nero and Silver
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of reviewing the Autodromo Prototipos. These 70's inspired racing chronographs really struck a chord for me, with their excellent styling, superb detailing and reasonable prices. On top of that, they used Seiko Mecha-Quartz movements, which combine the affordability and accuracy of a quartz, with the functionality of a mechanical chronograph. These are movements that I'm a big fan of, and are grossly underused in the industry, so I was really excited to see them in such a cool watch.Recently, Autodromo added two more models to the Prototipo collection, bringing the total number of styles to 4 (well, technically 5 including the Vic Elford limited edition, but that is long sold out). The new models round out the series, adding a silver dialed version with orange accents for a retro palette, and a PVD model with yellow highlights for something more aggressive. When and for what model did they use which grade?
I am just wondering that, because sometimes I saw one and the same model with different grades. This happens mostly with watches of the 1950s and 1960s and so I think it'll be helpfull to have some kind of list to know if the combinations are correct ones or some watchmaker changed the grades and cases over the years.E.g.Early Boulton - Hamilton 980 17 jewels - Hamilton 982 19 jewels Rodney - Hamilton 748 18 jewels - Hamilton 735 18 jewelsLindwood - Hamilton 980 - Hamilton 982

need help chronomat B01
Hi I recently bought a chronomat whit the B01 movement, I noticed from the beginning that manual winding of the watch was harder compare to other watches and it will make some noise while winding and while wearing it will not make any noise. I sent the watch for complete service and it came back like a new watch, the manual winding continue to be hard and no noise while wearing or moving the watch. Now after a few week from the service date the manual winding is not noisy and as good as any other watch but I noticed that it makes a lot of noise while wearing or moving. Keeps perfect time. should I send the watch back to Breitling service?

Winder problem
The winder on my old Omega Constellation unscrews if I turn it anti-clockwise.Is there an easy fix for this?
