Breitling A1332024/C817-diver-pro-ii-blue-tang wrist watches news:
Hi Guys,I'm new to the forum. I don't own one, but the Submariner has long been my holy grail of watches. I thought it might be cool to wax poetical and ask you guys to describe what draws you to this watch. Here are my thoughts. The Submariner I¡¯m always curious to get a handle on exactly what draws us to certain objects, like works of art, fine writing instruments, or even watches. I¡¯ve thought often of watches and their perfect blending of engineering genius, aesthetics, and functionality. But what is it about the Rolex Submariner that captivates so thoroughly? It is not the most beautiful watch. You cannot even see the movement. The stainless steel version is plain and unassuming. There are hundreds of copies on the market by reputable watchmakers for thousands less. I bought my Seiko for the very reason that it resembled a Submariner. And yet¡ it¡¯s not a Submariner. I¡¯m not na?ve. I have seen one up close in person in my life. The Submariner is just a watch w
Nelson for me today. I guess I need to find a better case. The brassing doesn't look that bad at actual size.
My newest ¡°dress watch¡± arrived a few moments ago! Picked up a Frederique Constant Carree Heart Beat at a great price and I can¡¯t wait to get home and look it over in detail. Just a couple of quick unboxing photos for now as its a very busy day. I always pay a price for a three day weekend.
Her birthday gift...she's been eyeing it for a while. Very nice looking watch. Pic shows it with her datejust she wears daily. She has a tougher choice daily now!!
So the white gold BLRO has in fact not been discontinued but instead ha been ¡°morphed¡± if you will. My first reaction was that the blue dial version of the Pepsi was simply a gimmick which breaks with historical DNA just to keep the high margins on this piece flowing. This may very well be the case but I see more now. While breaking with the Pepsi black dial history, the new blue dial is in line with the Rolex and other manufacturer history of offering certain blue dials exclusively on PM pieces. I am looking forward to seeing this dial live because I think it may be chameleon like, especially with the matte shading and could look almost black in certain low light conditions and very blue in bright sunlight playing nicely off the hues of the bezel. Rolex and others have also historically offered more ¡°interesting¡± or chameleon like dials on PM pieces and the blue Smurf dial is an example. For clarity, I am not saying that Rolex does not offer ¡°interesting¡± dials on SS models, jus
