I have a set of cufflinks that belonged to my wife's grandfather. She thinks that they might be from the 40's, but I am unable to find any info on them. One link is a locket and the other is a watch. The marking in it are "Capri" and by MEPA, also swiss made at the bottom.I would like to open it up but can't figure out how. It doesn't seem to want to unscrew. The crown has been broken off at before we got them. If any one know anything about this or has any place that would be good to look for info it will be much appreciated.For scaleWell I got it opened and here is the inside.

Do you remember the Omega with the 12 o'clock at 3 o'clock ? I think Isaw it in the late 60's or early 70's and I can't remember what it was called.I couldn't afford it then and had to make do with a $15 Seiko , which I stillhave and is keeping great time, I am getting all nostalgic now. 5167 + 15710 for 5164, thoughts?
Hello,I really enjoy this forum and I know a topic thats been beat to death but I still can't decide. I love my 5167 but just wish it was a little bigger, I am not a small guy. But I have a AP 15710 and I just find it these days to be too big and wear it rarely. Would a 5164 meet right in the middle or is the diameter not noticeable? Thickness seems perfect just under 12mm. I have consolidated my watch collection down considerably. Now down to the two above mentioned and a newer Explorer II at 42mm. Which by the way to me is the absolute perfect size in a watch. Thickness and diameterI would appreciate the typical well informed opinions here!!Thank you!
