Breitling Steel wrist watches news:
John discusses a Girard-Perregaux Chrono Hawk watch he is reviewing and I discuss a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms that I am reviewing. Which is the better watch? Then we proceed to get into the dirty details of smartwatches and the potential failings of Bluetooth. Of course, Casio is about to come out with new Bluetooth watches that may just have us eating our words. Also, Rolex.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 143 here. Download the mp3.
I have wanted this watch for a long time! Last year my wife and I agreed that it could be my graduation gift for completing uni. Well, that day finally came, and around the same time my wife had a shopping holiday in Hong Kong so we decided that she would buy it whilst she was there. Tuesday this week she arrived home with the watch that has been my grail for the past 3 years, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, 2200.50.00.this watch just looks gorgeous! I have hardly taken it off my wrist since it arrived. I know that it is a tool watch with a WR of 600m, but I don't think that I will be wearing this to the beach or swimming, I have a few Seiko divers for that. It might be a bit silly, a bit like having a big 4x4 that never sees a gravel road let alone anything really offroad, but I want to keep it looking as sharp as possible for as long as possible.I'm sure many here will know the specs, so won't go on too much. I will confirm for those that haven't memorised the Omega reference codes
Im looking for the NATO / Zulu watch bands for my Hamilton Kahaki Auto (H775151) and my Luminox Series 3000/3900 and was hoping to find out here what size band each would need. Thanks
OK guys im going to ask this in here as opposed to the general section as most AP/Rolex guys look in here.....Ive been offered a 2 year old AP forged carbon 44mm complete set as a trade for my 116618LN gold sub(no papers, about 4 years old etc............) Now as much as i love my gold sub i have plenty more rolex sport models at home to choose from and the gold one never gets any wrist time.... mostly due to the fact im not game to walk the streets here with it on lol!Ive had a AP roo safari previously and besides not finding it comfortable to wear it had to be sent back twice with movement problemsi do like the 44 more then the smaller roo and i love the forged carbon and ceramic.... but is it worth all the hype and am i gonna do my money on this?what do we think of this as a trade?
I am looking to flip my two tone SMP with white face and skeleton hands. But to be fair to any potential buyers I was planning on getting it serviced prior to doing so. Any idea of what it would cost (for a routine maintence service) and how long it would take? I have heard of horror stories in regards to the length of time they are taking at the service center. Thanks
