- I already owned a Calibre watch and was very pleased to find them available at SaleReplica. Impossible to find better value in a Swiss made timepiece. Dependable, sturdy and stylish.

- The watch is a little ger than I expected and it wasn't something I needed but what can I say. IT'S COOL. The only negative is that it has a tendency to open up when bumped.

As you well know, there are tons and tons of vintage divers out there, something for everyone's taste. With that said, there are some that stand out from the crowd a bit, and the Ollech and Wajs Caribbean 1000 is one of them. Ollech and Wajs (O&W) made a plethora of great divers and chronographs in their heyday in the sixties and seventies, but by far the most desirable is the Caribbean 1000. O&W teamed up with the Jenny Watch company and used their reference 702 case for this model. Jenny made several cases that were branded with a variety of different makes just like the EPSA Super Compressor and Squale case makers. The O&W Caribbean was only made for a few short years during the mid to late 1960's. The Jenny reference 702 case housed many other brands like Jaquet Droz, Haste deLuxe, Philip and Jenny themselves to name a few.The Jenny 702 is a monobloc (one piece, front loading) steel case measuring 40mm wide by 45mm long with a thickness of 16mm and 20mm lugs. 40mm sits
I am wearing my Swiss Army watch today and noting the similarity to the Hamilton Khaki field watches.Victorinox is by no means the only company to produce the military style watches popularized by Hamilton and others for actual military use. I was wondering if history had unfolded differently and Hamilton production ended with the close of the Lancaster plant who would be the successor to the Hamilton legacy. What brands would you look to?
is this breitling real or fake?
When is a door a jar? It is with some mystification that I read posts claiming that the Seiko Spring Drive is not a true mechanical watch, horologically speaking, of course. I must admit that I haven’t an unbiased view on this matter, especially in light of my more knowledgeable peers. However, (let’s just throw the fat on the fire) one might make the case that a nice new Nikon SLR with its many electronic features is not a real camera. A closer analogy would be the replacement of the distributor, points and capacitor in most modern automobile engines with electronic ignition. Does this addition make them electric cars? My view is that a main spring does indeed drive the hands of my Ananta and the lack of an escapement does not alter this fact. If a battery or capacitor were the source of stored energy, then I would concede that the Spring Drive was not a true mechanical watch. Such is not the case. Opined with respectUglyone4u
