Baume & Mercier Clifton 1892 Flying TourbillonOf the 16 brands at the show, the last one you would figure to launch a $57,000, 30-piece limited-edition flying tourbillon wristwatch would be Baume & Mercier. After all, its niche is affordable luxury, with watches priced primarily in the $1,500-to-$5,000 range. Nevertheless, its show headliner was a new rose-gold Clifton wristwatch featuring a flying tourbillon. The tourbillon is made for B&M¡¯s sister company in the Richemont Group, the movement producer Val Fleurier. We've seen a lot of the Speedmaster over the last few articles, and it brings us to the present day.For sure, Omega knows what they have in their heritage. Along with creating new models, the last few years have seen Omega releases in the form of updates to venerable models of the past. These include several models from the Seamaster line, Broad Arrow models, the PloProf, and the Bullhead. The Speedmaster line includes the First Omega In Space homage to Wally Schirra's Mercury Sigma7 mission watch and the new MK II. Accutron running fast
I have an old Accutron E75178 M8 that was rebuilt 9 years ago. It ran fine for two years and then stopped. I assumed the battery went dead. It was my Father's watch that he gave to my son. Recently I went to Batteries Plus and had the battery replaced. The one they put in is an Energizer 394/380. The watch worked but was running fast. I took the battery out thinking it's the wrong one and am wondering what I should do. Does anyone here have any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.Scott

i haven't seen any mention of the hour vision around here...i just love the watch..it has too many things good about it that appeal to me:-the design and sapphire construction is bold, new, very pleasing and refreshing.-the movement calibres 8500/8501 were especially designed from scratch and put in this watch.-the blue seconds hand just takes my breath away.in all it is my dream dress watch....any one please has any pics of their own hour vision watches, wrist shots or anything, please share.I am sharing just some googled pics......p.s.i love the stainless steel version with leather strap but i am sure the others look lovely too..leather and silver rather than gold and bracelet is just my taste :)
