Rusty you stated that the Hamilton Review thread may go away and be dispersed to the Review and Reference Forum. As a Moderator I would suspect that you are doing the right thing. But here is a request.......I don't know the Forum business.But I would think that there is some value of keeping Hamilton Review "sticky" in the Hamilton Forum.I think that this little test shows the value of having the reviews of one brand in their own Brand Forum. It is obvious that people are not interested in searching around for their reviews. The Hamilton Review "sticky" has 12 reviews and 5,539 hits in 15 days! The Review and Reference Forum has 47 Reviews and 2,774 hits in as long as it has been counted.So I'ma comin' out, guns ablazin' if ewe try to take our review thread away from us! Application for Grand Complication -- Help me out~
Hello there, long time lurker here:Some of you might be familiar with this forum below:Long story short, I own four Pateks atm: One Annual, two perpetual and a world time. Earlier this year when 5550P came out my application was flat out denied (quite discouraging). Therefore I would like to take my time and gather some information before I send this application in.The watch of my choice would be the 5216R, I've seen quite a few people make their initial choice 5131 but I rather prefer a watch that is easy on the dial.PATEK PHILIPPE SA - Reference 5216My questions are: How long did it took one to get a successful application, how long afterwards did it take to get the watch delivered, what was put in the elaboration and the remarks, and overall, was the experience cherishful or stressful?All helps and opinions are appreciated!

I see a lot of great vintage watches on the forum. I wonder does inclimate weather have an impact on wearing a vintage watch. I generally wear a newer one when rain or extreme temps hot or cold are in the forecast.

Is this a good price for 15400ST?
Hello everyone,I got a Rolex recently. But started looking into AP recently. Love the simplicity and the design. I am looking at 15400ST with the blue dial or white dial. I can get white dial for about $17000 after all the discount and taxes. The blue dial would be about $17800. Not much discount on the blue dial. Both dials are amazing. Has that interesting shine to it. And the bracelet- it is just amazing!The price is from the AP boutique for a brand new piece. Is this a reasonable price? Do AP offer any discount? On Rolex it is common to get some discount depending on the model. But the AP time pieces are completely new to me.Looking at chrono24 the piece I am looking at, is priced at 20-24 k. I am a bit confused. Would be glad if someone can direct me. Thanks a lot.
