Cartier wE9003Z3 wrist watches news:
Well, my last, and I mean MY LAST restoration project is finishedI will never do this job again, as it's more difficult every day, parts for hummers are so scarce, so I quit, and will keep just the ones I have (3 Omegas and 1 Accutron)Anyway, here are the finished project of the last Omega I got...Before pic:After pics:The case was restored by hand by me, and the crystal, crystal gasket, and movement service and repairs were taken by my watchmakerI bought a complete new movement, so I guess this will last for at least 30 years The dial is 100% original, it was in great shape after cleaning I swapped the bracelet for a nice De Beer Baby Croco leather strap, and will install a butterfly deployment buckle too...So far the watch is working great!
Hi all,I always wanted a Speedmaster because of the amazing history of the watch. I know quite a bit about the older Speedys with the hesalite Chrystals. But the newer one with the Sapphire crystals I didn't read that much about. Now there is one for sale locally for around $3000. It has all the papers etc. It looks to be in very nice shape. Do you think that is an ok deal?Do those Chocolate Speedys have a different movement as the regular ones because of the see-through-back?What else was changed in the newer Speedys with sapphire crystal?I was always very reluctant to get a Speedmaster because of the Hesalite Crystal. All the watches I have with plastic crystals scratch like crazy, so sapphire would interest me a lot.If you have a Chocolate Speedy, how do you like it?ThanksHerbert
Hi,What is a fair price for a 5712/1A-001?Checking for example chrono24 an trf is a big difference. Thanks for your help!
Hi all, I am really liking the AP ceramic diver, but am afraid the difference between my 5712 and it would be too huge in size and thickness for me to get used to it, as if I would get one I would have only my 5712 and a black ceramic 42mm diver. If owners can tell how it's doing it for them I would appreciate, thanks
Does anyone know when the balance spring changed from Breguet to Spiromax? I've got a very late 2013 5980/1a and wondered whether this would have the silicon balance spring?
