- I absolutley love this watch! I got it with the while silicon band and it looks terrific. It will be great for summer. I love the size and that it isn't very heavy.

- I was looking for a practical everyday watch with a timeless look that would last me many years of regular wear. This watch is it (as long as I don't lose it in my travels :). The band is a little stiff when you first get it, but over the few days that I've had it, it's gotten more flexible. Great value.

Cartier WE800331 wrist watches news:
It's been some time since we reviewed a Seiko on worn&wound, which is a shame because Seiko is one of our favorite brands. As long time readers may recall, we've reviewed a number of Seiko's including two from their Seiko 5 line, the SNK military field watch and SNZH diver, both of which have quite a following from the watch nerd community. Seiko 5¡®s are known for being sturdy, affordable mechanical watches that come in a variety of flavors, and today we're going to take a look at the SNZG, a mid-sized military field watch that retails for $100 to $115 depending on strap choice.Case: Stainless steelMovement: Seiko 7S26C 23 Jewel Automatic with Day/dateDial: BlackLens: HardlexCase Back: Display BackStrap: Stainless steelWater Res.: 10atm (100m/300f)Diameter: 42mmThickness: 12mmLug Width: 22mmWarranty: Two-yearThe Seiko 5 line of watches is vast, including watches from a number of genres (dive, dress, military) with varying dial colors, case finishes and strap choices for each model.
Just a thought and a question to u guys n gals that know. There are a mulitude of tips about how to avoid buying a fake rolex out there. ( i stick to the AD or SPONSER school of thought) however the sound at least of my z series sub is distinktive , like very fast. Are there ETA movements that can match rolex? and or, is this a way to spot a fake?
I finished putting this 1932 Elgin back together yesterday afternoon. The 7 jewel, size 3/0s movement is in great condition, nice and clean. The case polishing turned out very well! This 14k WGF has a mirror like finish. Take a look at that case back! They don't always turn out this well, the case was in pretty good condition from the get go. The scroll work on all four sides of the case has not been worn down over the years and it's still in great condition. I used a somewhat uncommon dial for this watch, it's a Roman numeral dial size 3/0s. Tens of thousands of this dial style were manufactured for the size 0s Elgins but far fewer were made in size 3/0s. New crystal. And to finish it off I went with a rather exotic band, genuine Shark skin, not the cheap shark grain. I have been neglecting the Walthams lately so I'm currently work on a few of those, I'll post some pics when they are done.

I noticed DavidSW had two new unworn LVc in stock but one was $400.00 more. That had me do some investigating and it appears that a new/unworn with all plastic in place is worth $400 more than the same watch with the playstic removed by the AD. That is a heck of a premium for plastic stickers but it does matter.Stickers removedhttps://davidsw/product/rolex-11...-submariner-6/Stickers not removedhttps://davidsw/product/rolex-11...-submariner-4/I guess I am glad I kept my stickers.
