It sort of snuck up on me, and maybe it's inevitable: Constellations are invading my Seamaster collection. I guess eventually every vintage Omega collector will get a few Connies. A nice example or two was really all I wantedreally! Which is pretty much what I had up until 2011. Chugging along happily with my 168.005 as the sole Constellation representitive in my box. Then came a stainless 168.015 so I had a pretty cool pair of caliber 564's.Next was this 2799 bumper 354 that I dumb lucked into just after the Seamaster Pie Pan:Then this 2943 caliber 504 came in a swap:Now, this 168.009 / 168.017 caliber 561 with the 368.810 bracelet happens along and how can I resist?It's the EXACT watch I swore I would replace the gold capped 168.017 caliber 751 I sold a few years ago to a member here. Found a Hamilton Baron II
I was recently going through some old family belongings and came across a Hamilton Baron II watch. It still has the original wristband and faceplate. I was wondering what these are worth nowadays (it still runs by the way). Thanks for any info you could give me about this watch also!

As promised, I present my new Ventura V-matic Master. I've had my eye on this one for a long time, but could never find it with the bracelet, so I had not thought about it for a while. This pre-owned model popped up on a dealer's website at a reasonable price, so I knew I had to go for it. First the unboxing...Fed Ex did its job...The plain brown wrapper...Cookies? What the...Oh, that's much better...Manuals, COSC certificate, and .the Ventura!and finally a new SOTCThere are features of the Ventura that I knew I would like: the pointer date, the integrated bracelet, the 200m water resistance and the amazing smooth shaping of the case. But there are also features that I didn't know I would appreciate such as the dial. The dial is beautifully detailed as well as incredibly easy to read. There are some small shortcomings as well. The connection between the case and bracelet on my wrist makes a wide gap versus the other links (I think I can effect a fix to this). Also, the links are large
