Finally purchased my dream watch!
Hey guys, after much searching I have taken possesion of my grail watch (2502.80) the 42.2 AT in blue! The search was made all the more challenging due to the fact that it's been discontinued by Omega. These pics don't do it justice, but I wanted to share with the forum. Thanks to everyone for their feedback and suggestions, and a special thanks to Ulackfocus for the AD referral.

Oris watches were under my radar, however, I saw an opportunity to purchase this TT1 for a good price.After I bought the watch, I did research on Oris,(talk about the cart before the horse!) however, the more i researched, the more I liked Oris! I just received my new watch, and, THIS is a Keeper! really like this watch! Here's a quick wristie..........This is a keeper for me! :oohya!

Hello TRF memebers,To commemorate my birthday and a special moment in my life in April, I was on a quest to find a Patek 5127, which has always been one of my favourites. As the model was discontinued in 2013, pre-owned was the only option, and in searching for one, I found one at Watchfinder.co.uk via their website.Having initiated the transaction on their websibe, I had the first viewing of the actual piece at their showroom in Royal Exchange in the City, the piece seemed OK at the time. In this light, I decided to go ahead with a part exchange deal for my AP + cash for it (the trade price wasn't great but I understand that they are a business). I handed them over my AP and settled the agreed difference at their Royal Exchange store but I wasn't allowed to take the 5127 there and then, as the deal was subject to them being happy with my AP. So the sales assistant took the 5127 back to the stockroom, and in doing so, she dropped the watch on their table, which is covered with some sor

One of my grails is the All White Gold GMT II. I am dreaming of course, donĄŻt have the cash for any AG model, but itĄŻs my fantassy so what the heck. My first Rolex ever was a 1986 Fat Lady Coke GMT II. I have nothing against the Pepsi, but just really liked the contrast of the Black/Red over the Blue/red. The AWG Pepsi is a beautiful watch, and if I could I would buy one, but if Rolex can do a Blue and Red bezel, why not a Black and red? A color is a color, so technically, I canĄŻt believe there is any reason, and this is a marketing choice. My question is: (again) Why? Is the Pepsi that much more popular that in the AG model they donĄŻt have to even produce one? I certainly wouldnĄŻt think so. Basel 2018 prediction: All White Gold Coke GMT II
