Yeah, you'd need to be as 149 as me to know the title is actually some way Homestar lyrics, innit? “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love..” ? thirtyfivemill

In have seen many useless complications and been witness to a lack of attention to detail by those who design watches, but today I saw something I've never seen.(I'll not mention any brand names) I was doing my usual watch ogling for a while when I spotted a watch that I hadn't seen before.BIG (approx 50 mm diameter),nice looking dial-quartz chrono-and Swiss Made.Upon close inspection I noticed that all the numerals, indices, subdial hands, chrono seconds hand, and even the company logo were luminous. However the 2 hands (Hour and minute)which need lume in order to tell the time in the dark are lume-less!!!!Jut when I thought I'd seen it all!!
I bought my first AP Diver a couple weeks ago and I love it! I however took it in as it was running a little fast (didnt want to wait for it to settle in) and thought I'd get the 3rd year warranty at the same time. This wasn't a big deal as I live in Tampa and the Clearwater center is about 20 min drive.I want to buy the bracelet for it but am being told it has up to a 6 month backorder!! I asked out of curiosity if there is a leather with clasp for the diver and apparently there is, brown and black and both are in stock.DOES ANYONE HAVE THE LEATHER ON THE DIVER AND WHAT DO YOU THINK?Thanks in advance and pics would be greatly appreciated.Daniel
Alright, well a month or so back I babbled about getting a PAM, now sitting nicely on my wrist is the 372 (love it). However, the first thing I noticed was the lack of a date. I didn't think it would be an issue, but I find that I am looking at it quite often for the date (apparently I use that function often in my other references). It doesn't diminish the watch for me, but does let me yearn for one with a date function. Issue being: no 47mm w/date (at least none I found). So how many of you all would want a date function in a 47mm? If it came out, i'd be first in line...but who would be second?
