Cartier W 20073X8 wrist watches news:
On Sept. 17 in Geneva, at a celebration marking its 260th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin will present what it calls ¡°the most ingenious and sophisticated mechanical watch ever made.¡±Ahead of the launch, Vacheron has released some preliminary information about the watch to a small number of watch publications around the world, including WatchTime. (It did not provide an image of the watch.)Here¡¯s what we know. The watch, which Vacheron says has two dials, has been created entirely in-house by three VC watchmakers, who worked on it for eight years. The watch was commissioned by a prominent, as-yet-unnamed collector. It incorporates, Vacheron says, ¡°entirely new and unique complications representing the most significant technical advancements in watchmaking in modern times. The new complications had to be calculated, designed and developed from scratch. Thus a completely new caliber of movement was created unlike any seen before.¡±One of the new complications, WatchTime has learned exclus
Breguet has announced that it will be donating a unique Platinum Chronograph Type XXI to the Only Watch auction to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. The new unique piece stems from the first chronograph made by Breguet in 1935, the type XX, which was created for the French military. 1 OF 1 The Only Watch Type XXI 3813 features a special flyback function featured on the original 1950s model. This allows for the chronograph to reset to zero and restart in one smooth motion. Additionally, the minute-register is centrally located allowing for easy reading. The automatic caliber 584Q/1 movement is housed in a platinum case for the very first time, which is what makes this piece unique. For more information please visit the Only Watch auction website.
HiI need a winding stem for a Benrus BB4 movement. Can anyone tell me where to get one, an alternative or if an ETA 900 stem would work.ThanksTony
Hi all,I would just like to know your opinion and personal tastes between these 3 watches, don't hesitate to write the reasons why you prefer this one to these, etc.For me I think it's in the order of the choices, 1st on bracelet, 2nd on strap and 3rd the 5167R, I am contemplating the eventual purchase of one, many have suggested the 5167 as I already have a Nautilus, but if ever I do get one it will be the 5726, what is the most important, having very different pieces to have a 3-4 piece collection as diversified as possible, or getting the pieces you love the most, even if 2 of them are very close?Anyways I think I would get on strap even if I kinda prefer the bracelet version, but in this case the preference is not huge and it would be better IMO to have one Nautilus on strap and one on bracelet since I have a 5712. Especially I contacted ABP in Paris, they can make any strap by special order for a Nautilus, they have done it before so it's no problem, the only thing they need is to
