Cartier W20122U2 wrist watches news:
Good afternoon to all watch talk members,my name is mikei make a wrist shot from the yellow artegoWhat you think ?Greetings Mike
I do not have photo of the movement. Is it realy IWC watch? Caliber? Date?iwc_back.jpgiwc_side.jpgiwc_face.jpgThank you
i recently inherited a waltham watch from my greatx3 grandfather and i need some general help and background since i am new to old watches. I winded it and it runs fine but it seems to have lost nearly 40 mins in less than 24 hrs. I dunno if perhaps i had set it wrong to start with but something seems wrong. It hasnt been serviced yet for probably 50+ years so that may have something to do with it. So i am just wondering if anyone can help me with what the slow/fasst lever in the movement does, if i can set the time while the watch is wound and running, or anything else an experienced watch owner thinks i should know. Thans in advance for the help .Watch Info:~serial: 29555276 (cerca 1937/8 from what i've seen)~says "Colonial Waltham U.S.A." on the movement~17 jewels~14k solid gold
I'm curious if anyone has one of these or knows anything about them? I'm starting to like the idea of a watch on a strap that can be fairly dressy but still contemporary enough to look fine with casual dress.I haven't been able to dig up any info or reviews on this piece so I'm assuming it isn't wildly popular, but that's not a issue with me anyways. I love the look and I think it might fit me better than the 4101 Millenary that I also like. (Although I haven't got to try a 4101 I'm thinking it will be too big for me).Anyone have this piece? Or has anyone tried it that could elaborate on how it wears etc? I'm also interested in the 4101 as previously mentioned. Thanks gentleman and enabling is encouraged
I found this while shopping around a little today in Tulsa OK between appointments. Has ingraving on the back for a 25 year service award from 1981. I am noticing that a lot of these watches are engraved on the back for a 25-30 year service award. This on has the original box and everything seem below. I did notice that the de ville on the dial is in script font versus block lettering. Can someone help shed a little bit of light on this piece and possibly a value of it? The bracelet is an original Omega leather strap with the gold Omega buckle. Also the Crystal is original as it has the Omega symbol in the center of the plexi.
