Cartier W20073X8 wrist watches news:
Decided I didn't like the way the patina was developing. All splotchy and not very even. So I decided to polish up the bronze, and get a nice even tone to begin again...Ancon
Been looking for a PO with the orange bezel for a few weeks now and finally bought one from the forum. Can't wait for it to arrive and just checked the tracking number and it has landed in the UK. Getting excited now
Hey,I'm a fairly new Patek owner and have been really enjoying this forum.A quick question as I'm unsure of which direction to take and would appreciate some insight:I own a 5726 white dial (absolutely love) and a 5205G. Love both watches and they have only wetted my long-suppressed appetite for more Patek. I'm especially enamored with the Nautilus, as it wears beautifully and just feels right. I planned on adding another Nautilus and I was going to try and source the classic 5711 blue dial. But I just got a very good deal on a new 5980 blue dial that is hard to pass up. Being that I already own a Nautilus with a complication, do you think its overkill to go with another complication, the 5980? Also, being that the model is now discontinued, should I anticipate an increase in value or was the 5980 not great seller in the first place? Bottom line, I could add to my collection with a 5980 new now, for a very appealing price, or have to wait months, perhaps even half a year from wh
New to Patek because I've always considered it way out of my league. For my next purchase I have been patiently waiting for a mintVintage Daytona Big Red 6263 (Black Dial w/White Subdials) to come available although the White faced Nautilus 5711/A/011 has certainly caught my eye from pics I've seen online. I realize these are two totally different watches but unfortunately can't have them both. If you could only have one, which would you choose? Is this Nautilus available to purchase yet and do you guys see a huge demand for this particular model? Thanks,Mike G.
..........I'm asking this b/c I'm now thinking more and more about getting the Daytona over the Gold YM, but still haven't seen the former in person. Among the Daytona models, I thought for sure the WG version was the way to go b/c the silver dial is so striking against the black ceramic bezel and strap, and the white gold is obviously more subtle and less attention grabbing than either YG or EG.Having said that, my one concern with the silver dial on the WG version is dial legibility. Since the YG and EG have a few options with either YG dial/black dial or EG/black dial combos, for those who have various dial combos in YG or EG, can you share your pics and experiences with dial legibility? And for the record, my eyes aren't failing me....lol. I'm just coming from having a LV sub and a PAM 1312, both of which are super easy to read at a glance, and which I love about the watches, and which got me to love the YM (along with its matte black bezel). And for those with the WG Daytona
