- I really liked the look of the watch in turquoise, but it was still too for my wrist even with the 3 extenders taken off. I would have kept it if it had not been so loose.

- I absolutely love this watch! Although advertised as a men's watch, it is even more attractive for a woman. The price is great, but the look is even greater.

Cartier Cartier 46970 wrist watches news:
The 84th Annual Academy Awards, the film industry’s biggest spectacle, took place last night in Hollywood. Like every year, many of your favorite watch brands were represented on the wrists of the celebrity nominees and guests, and some brands even sponsored lavish movie-industry events prior to the awards ceremony. Ball Watch Company is quickly becoming a perennial favorite of mine for their utilitarian designs and reasonable prices. Ball watches exhibit frequent feats of useful technology or features, but the Engineer Master II Diver GMT really hits a home run. It will be formally unveiled at Basel World 2008, but the key aspects to its anticipated success are its high legibility, use of tritium gas tubes, and DLC (Diamond-like coating) covered case. The design itself continues to be refined, and here reaches a new level of legibility. The GMT hand is well-noticeable, but diminutive enough not to overshadow the main elements of the watch. This is one of the first times I have seen such a well done, yet readable GMT complication. Of course, as in all Ball watches, Tritium gas tube radiate brightly at night for 25 years. The tubes contain a safe radioactive compound that produces a glow without the need of light absorption. Inside the face is a rotating bezel operated by an external crown. This all

As the title suggests, do you think "luxury" brands are getting too expensive too fast? Are they getting more expensive faster than other items? For the purpose of this discussion, a luxury brand is any brand selling it's staple of models over $1,000. This would include everything from Tag to Patek Philippe so obviously it's a wide & general discussion. I was thinking this as I noticed a couple models had tripled in the past 5 years. Now that's the extreme, so I went & checked. A couple stats...Rolex: the average price of a Rolex from 2004 to 2009 climbed 39.7%. 3 models climbed over 50% over this 5-year period. The steel & gold Datejust (51.5%), the stainless steel Datejust (52.4%) and the stainless steel Daytona (51.5%). Only 1 model - the steel & white gold bezel Turn-O-Graph had a total increase of less than 20%. Surprisingly, the next 2 to climb the least were the all gold ladies Datejust on a jubilee (27%) and the Day-Date president (28%).Breitling: the av
