Well thanks to RJ007, I and Susan bought 2 really remarkable watches in NY.The first is Susans (who is a doctor)This is a pretty rare 'Waltham'. Whats rare about a Waltham? Well this is a 'real' doctors/nurses watch with a 'pulsation' graduation, to count a pateints heart beats/minute by counting 30 pulsations.NOTICE the 'cool' seconds hand its 'full' length' so a patient need only wait a maxim of 29 secs for the doctor/nurse to make a reading. How cool is that.Now mine is truly unique, I am ready to pay a wager if anyone can guess what this watch is:answers on NEXT post. Did you guess? How cool is that??

How often do you screw/pull out your automatics?
For those who don't have a watch winder. - How often do you take out your crown to adjust your automatic to the correct date and time?I pull out the crown on my Seiko 5 out about 2 times a week to adjust the date and time so I can wear it out. I never wear it unless I'm going out to do something with my friends, so I wear it about 2 times a week.For my 9937ob, I unscrew it about once a week because I like wearing it at home for about 30 minutes sometimes because I just like staring at it and stuff. (Lol call me a weirdo if you want).Now I have a question, is it a bad thing that I'm unscrewing the crown all the time to adjust my watch? How often do you guys unscrew yours?

Radiomir 183 or new reference ?
HiI am interested in buying a Radiomir. I usually prefer to buy mint used as there are some great bargains to be had but I could be persuaded to buy new if there was a distinct advantage. My question is should I buy a good condition Radiomir Black Seal 183 or one of the new references such as a 610 or 380?I prefer the more vintage vibe of the 183 and particularly the sandwich dial which is quite important for me. Yes the newer references have Panerai's in house movement but I really can't see anything wrong with the venerable ETA movements used in the 183 and other older references. Any advice greatly received. Thanks.

Can't decide on my first PM piece.
I know this comes down to being my choice but would like to hear some opinions. I am aiming to buy my first gold watch in 2018. I have basically ruled out YG. Just too much for me right now. I'm 31 and live in ND and can foresee A LOT of unwanted comments. So WG it is, which doesn't leave a whole lot of options. I'm leaning towards the Blue Sub. Already have a LN and LVc should be here soon. So would it be dumb to add another sub? The GMT is really nice but after seeing it in person I'm not in love with the bezel, and I already own the BLNR so I'd be adding another GMT to the collection. My holy grail is the DD with black dial and baguette markers, but once again I'm 31, live in ND, and my job is really laid back, mostly work from home, and only dress up a handful of times every year. So taking into consideration those thoughts and options, what would you chose? Should I wait to see if anything new in WG is released at Basel? Should I look at another brand? Or should I ju
