Chopard 27/8250-23 wrist watches news:
It's getting to be that time of year again - SIHH is just around the corner. That means you're about to see a veritable bevy of the new hotness hit on the 'Dinkee.? We'll start with a new one from Audemars Piguet - the new Royal Oak Concept GMT with a dose of remarkable white ceramic.? And that's not just on the case, either.? 2 OF 2 The Royal Oak Concept line is something of a skunk-works line within Audemars Piguet, pushing design and materials further than you'll see in traditional products.? Launched in 2008, the Concept has taken on a life of its own within the collecting world, and this latest addition will certainly get a few hard-core AP guys' juices flowing.? The Concept GMT Tourbillon for 2014 not only features a twin-barrel, manually wound, completely in-house movement with tourbillon and GMT, but for the first time, a white ceramic upper plate, in addition to bezel, crown, and pushers.?The white ceramic is almost totally scratchproof and requires special diamo
Hi All,Hope you can help me with this question. I am ready to buy the new black seamaster professional (non-LE). I looked that the watch in a AD side by side with the PO (non-chrono) and noticed this difference. The AR coating in the black seamaster all most seems non-existant reflects all kind of light. PO's AR coating works very well and show cases the dial in all lights. The seamaster's crystal doesn't show the light in blue (as it is supposed to with AR coating ?)Am I looking at it wrongly ? It is just bothering me a little as I will putting down 3k for this watch.
I like both the ROC 41 mm & the Patek 5035 but can only purchase one. I know one is sporty and the other more of a dress watch but I think they both can be worn dressed up or casual. In terms of value IMO the Patek will retain more value down the line. As for reliability/durability I think the Patek is better. What do other forum members think ? Please chime in.
Many thanks to Alfred (FNFZ4) for sourcing a new PO Chrono for me. I think the rest of my pieces will have to sit for a while....
How well do you guys think this watch will retain it's value? I assume production numbers are/will be quite limited and it will eventually be replaced by a RG version of 5990. I'm looking for a Patek on bracelet that isn't a steel Nautilus since I already have a 5711/1a and 5980/1a. Other option is the 5960/1a.
