Chopard 168511-3002 wrist watches news:
BNIB discontinued Titanium SMP. For those who've never handled one, it's not as light as you'd think. Some Ti watches feel almost as if they're made of plastic they're so light. This isn't as heavy as stainless obviously but you certainly know you're wearing it...It probably didn't sell all that well either, due to its substantially higher price than the stainless 2254.50...
Any opinions? I mainly want to know how strong the loop the spring bars and buckle are. Are both double thickness and stitched at these points? Had one (not Di-Modell!) that fell apart at the spring bar, causing the watch to hit a hard floor and pieces went flying. Since then I've been particular about straps. I was interested in Brady , but when I asked this exact question the response was 'I'm not sure, and we're almost out of stock on that one anyway." I've heard great things about Brady, so I was kind of taken aback. Maybe I should try again - everyone (even me!) has a bad day now and then.
Hi! I have an old Fossil BQ 9025 moon phase watch that I would love to add a couple of links to the band. The problem is that Fossil no longer makes or stocks these bands. So I was wondering if anybody might have an old watch, or band of this type that they might be willing to part with. For instance, if someone had a broken watch or band that they were preparing to throw out - I would be interested in it. Here is a picture of the watch;FOSSIL BLUE__BQ-9025__DATE/DAY/MOON PHASE__WR 100M - eBay (item 290506715902 end time Dec-07-10 10:51:01 PST)Any help will be much appreciated!
Hi Guys,I'm after an Omega Pie pan constellation in stainless steel with original non-refinished silver dial. Preferably on a beads of rice bracelet - but I could always buy the bracelet separate. Anyone know where I can find a nice one?I attached a picture of what im after (google pic).ThanksKevin
Hi everyone,It's been a couple of years since my last post. The picture below is of me trying on the BLNR and ultimately not buying it. Today I paid in full and now i await the phone call. I'm 6th on the list and the AD informed me that they had 3 last month so it could be as soon as February.I've had on going concerns that 40mm would be too small for my 8 inch wrist however most members here have been supportive with the odd dissenting voice. I've put that out of my mind now and decided that there is no other watch that comes close to this (except maybe the BLRO but that's just not feasible).I currently own a Tag Heuer Link Calibre S which is a watch I fell in love with long before I could afford it! I'm debating whether to keep it or not as it's unlikely to see much wrist time anymore. As for the BLNR, my 2 year deliberation has cost me ¡ê600, but that's life I suppose. As a first time Rolex owner, what can i expect when I collect the watch? I've been reading lots of posts about sticker
