- I have receieved several compliments on this watch. Not only from women, but men as well! People are fascinated with the watch face. May I also add, the watch bands are very easy to change. I am quite pleased, and always love Victoria's items!

Citizen AT4117-56H wrist watches news:
Swatch Group announced yesterday that the Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO) has opened a new investigation against ETA Manufacture Horlog¨¨re SA. The Swatch Group statement notes that this is not the first time that the COMCO has investigated a company of the Swatch Group, and that the Swatch Group is confident that the results of this investigation will again be positive for ETA (a reference to an investigation in 2003 that was resolved by an agreement between ETA and COMCO). The Swatch Group announcement goes on to state:“However, the timing for such an investigation seems unfortunate. Since approximately one year, the majority of the external ETA clients have massively cancelled or postponed their orders, without any consideration for the ETA personnel, its infrastructure nor the investments which have been considerable also at ETA due to the continuous pressure of the COMCO as a consequence of the complaints from third parties.(Ad hoc translation from the German original)So
This place is addictive. I am new to the forum and watch collecting in general. I am just getting started and now find myself 'checking in' on the WTF several (SEVERAL) times per daythanks guys (and gals). Anyway, I just got my first watchTissot PRC200. I am very pleased. My first watch was a Bulova Marine Star (got it 14 years ago and didn't appreciate it). BTW, how are the Accutrons? I just ordered a Magarette (beautiful watch made in New Zealand). I also have my eye on a Lum-Tec and Hamilton. I have a gift certificate to Tourneau and want to make an addition to my collection. Personally, I think everything is over priced there but I have a gc. Anyway, any shopping advice (is e-bay safe?) or brand advice is appreciated. Thanks, WTF, for becoming my daily productivity killer.
Just curious if anyone can clarify this for me.......I took two links off the integrated bracelet on my ROC, one from each side (so to balance the amount of adjustable links on each side of the bracelet). Afterwards I tried linking the two together but realized they are actually not the same in terms of the side where the chamfer edge is on. This is a bit odd to me as I'm used to linking my additional links from my Rolex's together and putting them in a mini ziploc bag.....so now I have to remember which side of the bracelet my links came off? Btw, thank you Thomas I realized I had to snatch a 39mm before it goes out! What a thing of beauty I must say......p.s. will post a wrist shot soon!
I picked up a Panerai 422 yesterday from my AD. I have previously been a owner and was an early admirer for the brand. Panerai has lost me on a lot of levels with the marketing and what I believe to be a, sells mentality, that steps over collectors. But I do like a lot of the watches and the 422 is one of my favorites that can be obtained for a reasonable amount. I have owned this watch before and I regretted letting it go. I have more than a dozen straps that I have keep from my previous ownership experiences. Knowing I would be back so I am not starting from scratch.
There are lots of X Owner's Club threads (BLNR, Platona, Submariner, etc.) so I thought we could make a DJ41 owner's club!Let's see them!
