Corum 947.931.04/0371 AN12 wrist watches news:
Just joined the forum in hopes of learning more about my Omega addiction. The only thing I've picked up so far is that there doesn't appear to be a cure. I think the quote I saw at the bottom of a post by one of the forum members that says "your collection isn't complete till you have them all" pretty much sums up my predicament. The slippery slope from interested to obsession was pretty steep and short.I recently purchased a new Omega Broad Arrow GMT, a used Seamaster Pro, and a vintage 1944. I'll post some pictures when I get some time. There are some real photographers who own Omegas I see. Great photo's, group. It looks like this is where the Omega gurus hang out so I hope you don't object to another newbie tagging along for the ride. Howdy to ya'll from Texas.
If given the choice between these two beauties (and these two only), which one would you choose? and why? :)
I have an older Citizen Elegance Chronograph, which if I ever get around to learning the uploading photo process I will have photos of. I need a replacement band but two websites have told me that the band is no longer in production and have cancelled my orders. Any insights on where I could find one? Thanks.
After much thought (and input from this board) I kept both the ALS 1815 Chrono and the Patek 5205r. Traded a couple other pieces (JLC Deepsea Chrono and IWC Chrono Classic) and a lot more cash for this 2006 edition in great condition. Thanks to Steve at Tarrytown Jewelers for making it happen. I think I'm done... for a while. Happy fourth to all.
We are at the Crayola Experience in PA with our kids, where you can make your own crayons. There was a crown logo so of course I made ...
