Corum Corum 13832 wrist watches news:
While on a recent trip to NY I bought a seamaster 300m chrono diver. I was told it was genuine and paid by credit card. It turns out now to be fake and I 'm wondering if anything can be done. I'm more disappointed at myself as I would normally research such a thing but this was a spur of the moment purchase. Are there any consumer laws that protect me here or is purely buyer beware? I won't be back in NY in the near future either. Any thoughts would greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I've had a local jeweler refuse to polish my two-tone stainless steel Seiko Kinetic. Recently I accidentally swam with this watch and destroyed it, failing to remember that it is not water resistant to any depth. Now I'm in the market for a new gold colored watch. I have a couple of silver colored watches to go with my white gold jewelry - one Seiko Perp Cal and one Bulova Marine Star. These watches are all silver colored and can be polished for about $100. Now I need a new gold or two-tone watch to go with my yellow gold jewelry. The thing is, I don't want to buy another stainless steel two-tone watch if cannot get it polished. The jeweler who refused to polish my two-tone SS watch recently told me that the reason is that the gold colored parts are probably only plated, and polishing the watch would cause this color to come off - essentially ruining the watch. If this claim is true, then I consider these watches that are not solid gold to be somewhat disposable. Sure they last a go
i love the look of the seiko amazon/Seiko-SKX009K2...ds=seiko+diverbut i hate the automatic watches lack of accuracy. orient has one similar but also a automatic. anyone have any ideas of a dive watch with the pepsi blue/red bezel and quartz? under $200?
Hello,I own two vintage Omega Seamasters (500 series) that need routine oiling and minor adjustments. I prefer to avoid Omega ADs and Omega Service Centers due to concerns about getting overcharged. Any recommendations? Thanks, DAVIDOmegas 01 01 2013.JPG
